International School Utrecht (ISU) is an International Baccalaureate continuum school offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). ISU is part of two local school boards: SPO Utrecht (primary) and NUOVO Scholen (secondary) ISU is also a member of the Dutch International Schools (DIS), a group of government-subsidised schools providing internationally oriented primary and/or secondary education. We currently have an enrollment of around 1100 students and a staff body of 185 educators and support staff from all over world.

Vacancy | where logistics meets learning
The International School Utrecht is looking to recruit an experienced, inspiring and dynamic head of logistics & learning. As one of our members of the leadership team embarks on a next adventure, we are looking for someone who wants to take the next step in the school's development with us. Together with the Head of School, Head of Primary, and Head of Secondary, you will be responsible for the effective day to day logistical aspects of education in our continuum school: where logistics meets learning. In addition, you will play a key role in our facilities planning as we prepare for the move to our permanent campus in 2027.
Together, you and the other three decision-makers are ultimately responsible for the entire staff, as well as educational and operational matters. The leadership team is the liaison between the IB, students, parents, teachers, and staff. The aim of the leadership team is to promote the whole school & IB vision, implement school policies, and lead teachers and staff.
Qualifications and experience
- Educational degree & teaching experience
- A minimum of three years’ leadership experience (preferably in an international school): liaising with the leadership team on the strategic development of the school, contributing to the school’s on-going plans.
- Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB)
- Knowledge of the Dutch (educational) context
